About

Like a seed that holds within itself the wisdom of an entire tree, I firmly believe that we each, at our core, carry our own innate wisdom meant to guide us in our journey and help us thrive. Life is imperfect, though, and there are storms that come without warning, unexpected turns, and uncharted crossroads.

Confusion, loneliness, fear, anger, and sorrow can hollow out the heart and leave in it an aching sense of shame, emptiness, inadequacy, brokenness, and maybe even hopelessness. We may feel disconnected from ourselves and the world around us, tangled up in unrelenting beliefs that tell us we are inherently flawed or somehow just not good enough, no matter how hard we try.

In the noise of all that is going on around us, or in the deafening silence, it can be difficult to hear that wise inner voice of ours that always knows the best way forward.

I understand that the steps toward healing are taken in their own cadence and my aim is to offer a warm and grounded safe-haven where we can gently untangle these beliefs and, with curiosity, tenderness, and nonjudgmental acceptance, explore where they came from, how they have been impacting you, and whether or not they are leading you where you want to go. Together, we will lift up that voice again and listen for new ways of being that nurture self-awareness, authenticity, and self-trust. I approach the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative and co-creative process, attending to your story with heart-centered listening in order to honor your pace while gently encouraging progress as you blaze a new path forward that is uniquely and meaningfully yours.

I work from an attachment lens within the overlap of neuroscience and my client's natural intuition, drawing primarily from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a variety of mindfulness and expressive techniques.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington under the supervision of Katherine Ibis, LMHC and Leah Gardner, LMHC. I received my Masters in Counseling from Palo Alto University and completed my practicum experience working in community mental health with adolescents, young adults, and families. Additionally, I hold a BFA from California Institute of the Arts.
